Journey of the Vixen prologue
In Bernwood Forest, in the British county of Oxfordshire, a feud had ended. A feud between red and blue foxes over the ownership and residence of the forest; the red foxes and their companions wanted to live there but the blue foxes and the native residents of Bernwood wanted them out.
For the red foxes, the end of the feud was a great victory as they were now at peace with the animals of this forest but for most blue foxes, the feud brought about a sense of humiliation especially for one particular vixen and the mate of the leader of the blue foxes.
This vixen had very light blue fur with white markings, cheek patches and a white underbell

"It is the end of the feud...it is the end of Bernwood...it is the end of Lady Blue..." cried the vixen
But the end of the feud between the red and blue foxes and the animals who wanted to live there was just the beginning. And one particular time would change Lady Blue's life forever.
That day came two weeks later. That day, the other animals were celebrating the victory that they had ensued with the end of the red-blue fox feud but all that was about to change; In the forests of Bernwood whilst Lady Blue was trying to adapt to the end of the feud she came across an alien voice singing with such a voice that would make even the king of Eng

Meanwhile, at an Oxfordshirean country house Burford Priory, the two hunters seen hunting down Lady Blue were present and faced the figure that she previously saw with them. This figure now appeared on a enormous screen, like a cinema screen, and it was here that the hunters could see them in its glory.
At least, only two hunters were present because the others who were present seemed not to be poachers or hunters but co-conspirators. All of them, except Clayton and his colleague, wore much more formal, if not Victorian style, clothing. The figure on the screen appeared as a middle aged man around the age of 53, an evil looking man who looke

That night, the hunters and their conspirators put their operation into action. Nothing was going to stop them taking Lady Blue now; no warden, no ranger, no tourist, not even any child. No-one.
That night, the hunters entered just outside the forest so quietly that even those with the best hearing on the face of the earth could hear them, not even bats and their hearing was brilliant. Then finally, all hell broke lose and hunters raced into the forest left, right and center all whooping and firing flare guns. At least, it sounded like they were whooping but the flare guns soon died down as Clayton and his colleague stood in front of them, C

By the time Cambridge was reached, just Clayton and McLeach remained as the other hunters had left once they got into Cambridge. It was here where Lady Blue finally came round, and the instant she was released from her towering and heavily conspicuous and cumbersome cage prison that looked like a shark cage her reaction was one of pure fear.
McLeach however came prepared as he attacked her with a catch pole and wrestled her into a smaller cage. "Well Clayton, that's how you get a vixen! The only thing now is, what should we do with her?"
"I'm sure Magdalene College could do with her. But she could do with going to the vet first, fortunately

In the vixen's mind, she knew she couldn't stop paddling because if she did she would drown and die so she kept on paddling even under the intense pressure from McLeach. After at least 12 minutes later Lady Blue's swimming was at an end. But had she died or had she lived? Had the grueling journey taken its toll on her?
The answer would be found out on the Indian coast. On the beach was a lively scene with adults either sunbathing or swimming with their children, some were even playing volleyball whilst children were either swimming or playing volleyball, but this lively air would all change; At this point in time, no one took any notice of t

Ten minutes later though all was quiet and blood stained the water. Someone had been killed in the fight, but who was it? The beach goers watched terrified to go back into the water...
But to children was a sense of intrigue as they began to approach the sea, but something stirred in the water causing them to flee as Lady Blue emerged from the water just as drenched as she was when she got here. For a vixen who had swam for her dear life here, she still stood somewhat proudly, and if not proudly then she certainly showed a sense of strength.
As she shook herself dry, water sprayed from the vixen's fur left right and center once again. But t

Lady Blue was almost amazed by the awesome nature of the voice but there was also a sense of danger that made her want to turn around and run away but something in her mind told her:
"Go on! Go On! GO ON!"
Eventually, Lady Blue succumbed to this powerful voice in her mind telling her to go on which was increased further by the voice telling her:
"You will come to no harm."
"Very well." Lady Blue told the figure, as she entered the room the organ music grew louder but was this room genuine or smoke and mirrors? Why did the voice keep its nature secret? And why was she brought here?
She came into a huge room, which looked more like an anci

The peacock replied: "Beware the black cat." with an almost hypnotic effect as Lady Blue said to herself "Beware the black cat..." her whole body became disorientated as the words "Beware...Beware..." echoed in her ears, a flash of light appeared before Lady Blue's eyes and she vanished. But where would she end up?
As her journey began, the vixen first appeared in a blackened room where she felt even more disorientated than she was at this point in time, she was even hallucinating. Then something strange happened in her body. She asked in a sense of terror:
"What's happening to me?!"
The peacock's echoing voice replied "You cannot take thi

As the transformation finished, Lady Blue suffered a bumpy landing as she struggled to stand up trying adapt to her transformation. Her back legs especially felt...odd and her front legs even so, she had lost all sense of balance as she tried to cross the perilous path whilst looking on at the water in fear.
She looked at the water as if it was filled with sharks or crocodiles or any other predator that would rip her limb from limb; she was also a bit freaked out by her own reflection, for the first time. Given her previous attitude, one would think she would love her new look; but no, the peacock had done somehing to her old hair and that w
